    1. I believe it’s used for sorting, cleaning, that sort of thing. The towel police won’t be knocking on your door if you take it home.

    2. these are used for tracking with stuff like laundry services, you aren’t gonna get hotel cops coming to your door if you take one home

    3. It’s for tracking in and out of the commercial laundry to ensure any losses are the hotels, not the cleaning company’s sending towels to other clients.

Oh right, just put it in your leather bag or carbon fiber suitcase. It’ll nullify the rfid tracker. Then, when you get home, put the towel in boiling water.

    5. I mean that would probably be damaged when washed. It’s probably lying, but probably still works as a theft deterrent

    6. Someone definitely asked the company to put “RFID is Tracking This Product”, and the company did as they were told, including the quotations

    7. a passive tag has no internal power source, it is instead powered by the energy transmitted from an RFID scanner. Laundry RFID tags are similar to care labels. Scanned into your room not scanned out goes on your credit card. Pool towels are the cheap towels. With just a warning do not remove towels from pool area.

    8. Everyone’s always after the towels like some weirdos like 50 people haven’t used that same towel the real joy is in the ice buckets
